T3 Arena launches its December update, introducing a new map amongst many new cosmetics and planned events
XD Inc’s mobile third-person hero shooter T3 Arena has released its official December update, bringing with it tons of new content including a brand new map to do battle within as well as a new winter mode for all other maps. There are also brand-new winter-themed cosmetics, events, and even new theme songs!
First off, let’s go over that brand-new map! Emmental has a very cosy vibe, heavily taking inspiration from the Swiss Alps, giving players a big winter wonderland to navigate as they do battle. There are warm wooden lodges to dive in and out of, massive pine trees, and even a cheese factory!
On top of this, every other map that’s typically within the normal rotation has a new winter mode that gives them a bit of a winter re-do, so even if you’re not playing on Emmental, you’ll still be able to get into the Christmas spirit with a winter vibe no matter where you go!
The rest of the update is mostly cosmetic, but these cosmetics sure are cute! Ossas has received a Snow Reindeer purchasable skin that full-on gives him a Reindeer head alongside a Santa Clause-inspired outfit. Chemist now has a purchasable Red Riding Hood skin, which makes her over in an outfit inspired by the classic fairytale. Finally, Iris has her new Sweet Snow skin, which makes her up in an outfit that looks just like a Christmas tree! All of these skins look absolutely great in motion, so be sure to grab one!
Last but not least, we’ve got a slight look at a few events that are incoming. The primary one is a community-driven event that will progress a bar as each player leaves likes for their teammates or opponents, and that bar will unlock more and more rewards as it grows for everyone!
