Monster Hunter Now, for the unaware, is the most recent release from legendary developers Niantic, of Pokemon Go fame. This AR game is a spin on the JRPG franchise of the same name, and translates the gameplay pretty accurately to mobile, with you hunting down materials and monsters alike to craft better gear which you will then use to tackle harder monsters, and so on.
For this new event, that loop remains unchanged for the most part, though there is some new stuff to check out. For one, as you walk around your neighbourhood with your eyeballs on the map, you’re likely to come across special Gathering Points that hold Pumpkin Tickets. These can be used to exchange for the new gear, though this is not the only way you’ll be able to grab them.A time-limited event is coming! ???? Halloween #PumpkinHunt ???? Our very first Halloween event will be held from Oct 25 to Oct 31! Look forward to event-exclusive equipment and Packs ????

You will also be able to find the new rare variant of the Kut-Ku, who rather than holding his typical rock or egg, is now wielding a Jack-O-Lantern. If you manage to slay him for his parts, there’s a strong chance you will also get Pumpkin Tickets here as well!
As for what new gear is up for grabs, you can get yourself the special new Jack-o-Head helmet, which will offer a new skill that increases your attack power if other Hunters with you have the same skill equipped, so expect to see a bunch of pumpkin-headed Hunters out and about in spades.
Aside from that, there are a few new premium packs available within the store when the event begins too, with a smattering of Potions and Carving Knives and the like available for a real money price tag.
