Master of Knights guide - 5 essential tips for new players

Here are 5 essential Master of Knights tips every new player should follow to become a better god!
Master of Knights is a turn-based RPG from Neowiz, the studio behind Magic Stone Knights, Brave Nine, and a handful of other mobile RPGs. Neowiz went a different route with Master of Knights by making it a triple SRPG with tons of fancy strategies. In Master of Knights - Tactics RPG, you wake up in the continent of Lemuria, surrounded by beautiful knights. Soon you’re burdened with the title of “descended god” and the duty of leading the knights and conquering Heaven!

Once you complete the tutorials, you’ll have a pretty good understanding of how the game is set up and how its various elements work. However, once you're set free from those shackles and allowed to do whatever you want, you’ll see just how much there is to do in Master of Knights. That’s where a game can be off-putting, especially for beginners. But if you know what to do at the start, tons of action and adventure await! So, here are 5 tips that you need to know in Master of Knights as a new player to earn that “descended god” title.
1
Tip #1 - Beginner’s Checklist
Before doing anything else, take a look at this short, tripartite checklist. With these three steps done and dusted, you’ll open up multiple sources of valuable resources.
1. Unlock the loot system
Master of Knights has an idle reward system. It’s called the Loot System and unlocks after you clear Adventure 3-2. So, once you finish the tutorial missions, start clearing Adventure stages as quickly as possible. Once your Loot System is unlocked, you’ll passively earn valuable resources like Gold, Solar Dust, Gear, Knight and Spell EXP, and more!
2. Join a guild & fill up your friend list
Whether you like in-game socialising or not, you’d want to do that in Master of Knights to get your hands on more valuables.
Let’s talk about the friend list first. Master of Knights has a Friendship Shop where players can buy items like Solar Dust, Upgrade Stone, Knight EXP, and more. However, the Friendship Shop has its own currency, called the Friends Points. The only way to earn Friends Points is by receiving them from your in-game friends. The more in-game friends you add, the more FPs you can farm.
Joining a guild is a great way to grow your in-game friends. On top of that, you get your fair share of rewards from Guild Raids and Wars. Lastly, every Guild has its own Shop too. Guilds are the best source for high-tier Growth Resources.
3. Follow guide quests
As mentioned earlier, there’s a lot to do in Master of Knights and it’s easy to feel clueless as a beginner. If that happens to you, leave everything and start following the Guide Quest. These daily tasks help you progress and hand out some nice rewards while you try to get the hang of everything.
These quests are divided into three categories- Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. As you complete one difficulty, the next one will unlock automatically.

Tip #2 - Watch the ads and use codes

As a beginner, you’ll be short on resources like Gold, Knight EXP, Summon Tickets, and other valuables. Thankfully, you can get these valuables for free with a very easy daily grind. In the Shop, there is a Free Gift section where you can watch up to 8 ads every day and get the following rewards.
-
5,000 Gold.
-
1,000 Knight EXP.
-
1,000 Spell EXP.
-
1 Knight Summon Ticket.
-
100 Combining Stone.
-
30 Solar Dust.
-
1 Spell Summoning Ticket.
-
300 Gem.
Another option that will take up less time, is to use codes for Master of Knights, they are constantly being updated and could nab you some awesome gifts.

Tip #3 - Avoid auto-mode (mostly)
Master of Knights has an auto-mode that unlocks after you clear Adventure 2-5. This feature allows your Knights to fight battles on their own. However, against tougher enemies, the auto-mode is not your friend. You don’t want to put the Boss Battles into auto-mode or you’ll get demolished by the fairly smart Boss AI.
On the other hand, the auto-mode is great for quickly getting through the easier battles. The auto AI performs decently against the basic formations and weaker enemy units.

Tip #4 - Use the Knight Rankings
Master of Knights has a list of heroes. Well, sort of. By clicking on the three lines and dots in the top-right corner of the main screen, you can open a drop-down menu. In that menu is a tab called Knight Rankings. Think of this as an interactive list that changes in real time. This is where you can see which Knights are being used the most by other players. You can see the top-performing knights for every game mode, including Adventure, PvP Arena, Tower of Ordeals, and others!
You can also use our Master of Knights tier list to find out which Knights to roll for.

Tip #5 - Focus on HP and ATK
As a beginner, don’t worry too much about the various character stats and sub-stats in Master of Knights. You just need to focus on two main stats- HP and ATK. These two stats determine how much damage your unit can take and how much damage it can dish out. For exponential HP and ATK growth, level up your character, equip the best possible gear, and promote the character to a higher tier.
Follow these 5 Master of Knights tips and you’ll see a visible difference in your gameplay. You’ll be able to level up your Knights faster, clear adventure chapters quickly, perform better against bosses and crush the daily dungeon raids.
